NESS H200
Breakthrough innovation
The NESS H200 is a non-invasive, portable device for combating and treating the consequences of brain damage.

This personal system is the outcome of many years of development. It is an incorporation and integration of the most effective state of the art upper limb rehabilitation technologies in a single system. It brings the fruits of the latest clinical laboratory research and expertise into the homes of patients for independent use.
Operation

NESS H200 Product Video

The NESS H200 system comprises a hand-forearm orthosis containing an array of electrodes, connected to a portable electronic microprocessor-controlled unit. The orthosis is designed for simple and independent positioning by the patient, thus accurately placing an electrode array on the arm. It supports the wrist at a comfortable angle for optimal activation of the hand. The neuromuscular stimulation results in an enhancement of physiologic and metabolic activity in the peripheral nerves, muscles, connective tissues, and their blood supply.

The system is customised for the patient during a personal fitting meeting.

Independence
The NESS H200 is ideal for independent use in the home setting. This is because it is relatively easy to put the orthosis on and take it off, and to operate the control unit independently. An important advantage is that a high degree of reliability of therapy can be guaranteed. In this way, the NESS H200 promotes self-reliance.
Prevention and maintenance
If, as the result of a stroke, the patient’s arm and hand are used less or not at all, there is a big chance of developing problems and complications (pain, stiff joints, oedema, etc.) Intensive therapy of the affected arm and hand reduces the chance of these complications. Prevention and maintenance are important aspects, and key words for the NESS H200 therapy.
