Treatment concept of the NESS H200
Treatment objective

Prevention or reduction of complications after a stroke is one of the most important treatment objectives –  an objective which previously was often unattainable after leaving the rehabilitation centre. Through the use of the NESS H200, this has now become possible.

It is good to know that no medical intervention is required with the use of the NESS H200. A patient can rehabilitate independently in his or her own environment.

Important to know
  • The hand will be activated during the stimulation. As a result, local blood flow will improve.
  • The exercises are safe, are perceived as pleasurable and prevent potential complications.
  • Existing complications may be reduced and sometimes eliminated entirely.
  • In some cases, the range of motion can be improved and strength increases in hand and arm.

Of course, much depends on the situation before treatment.

Based on simplicity
The use of the NESS H200 is based on simplicity. The patient can operate the control unit himself and decide for himself when and how long he wishes to exercise. As a result, the therapy is highly flexible and can be fitted into the user’s daily routine with ease.
